Sales Engineer Automotive (m/f/d)
Your challenge:
- Professional business and new customer development for the automotive application area through regular customer visits
- Detailed analysis of customer/market requirements/requests and joint solution development with colleagues internally and in Japan
- Development and implementation of effective sales and marketing strategies for the successful development of market potential
- Processing of offer and price inquiries up to contract negotiations with customers
- Clarifying technical and commercial order details with customers, including the interfaces/headquarters in Japan
- Creation and implementation of technical presentations internally and externally at the customer
- Use and maintenance of our sales tools, collection of all necessary data, creation of customer reports and timely reporting to the headquarters
- Completed apprenticeship or university degree (in the field of engineering)
- Ideally sales experience in the field of electronic/electrotechnical components (or comparable products that require explanation) and major international customers, preferably in the automotive sector
- Proficient in German and English
- Good analytical skills, very good technical understanding or high affinity for technical products
- Eloquent and confident appearance; negotiation skills
- Use of MS Office programs, in particular Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel available
